

Passed away at Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Sunday June, 10, 2012 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his first wife Helen MacKilligan (1998) of 50 years and his second wife Ruth Clancy (2011). Loving father of Janice Youngson (Jay). Walsh will be sadly missed by his grandson Todd, his brother Don, sister Mary, brother in-law Arthur, his extended family Maureen Matheson (Duncan),Bill Clancy, Judi Craig, Joe Clancy and Deborah Truffer, Janet Clancy, Steve Clancy, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Walsh was a bomber pilot during the Second World War and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Following the war he moved to Ontario where he farmed for a period of time, before going to work at the Canadian Brass. Eventually retiring as Vice President and General Manager in 1988. Walsh was a member of First United Church for almost 60 years. Friends will be received at First United Church 15 Wellington St., Cambridge on Thursday June 14, 2012 from 12:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 1:00p.m. Interment of cremated remains Mount View Cemetery.
