

Beloved husband of Maria for 40 wonderful years, Carlos was a devoted father to Denise (Jaime), Justin, and his cherished dog Benjii. He was a proud grandfather to Liam Carlos Espinola Matos, who brought him immense joy. Carlos is survived by his stepmother, Maria Espinola, and by his siblings Bella (Jermery) Ramboer, Manuel (Eunice) Espinola, Maria (Terry) Boire, Cidalia (Billy) Almeida, Anabella Espinola, and Andrew (Shawna) Espinola. He will forever remain in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Carlos was predeceased by his parents, Alberto and Maria Espinola.
Carlos dedicated his entire career to Paramount Structures, where he was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and camaraderie. A proud member of Local 183, he valued the friendships he built through his work.
In his personal life, Carlos was a man of many passions. He was an exceptional cook, loved fishing, and treasured every moment spent with family and friends. He was an enthusiastic supporter of Sporting CP soccer, looked forward to decorating his home each Christmas, and found peace and joy in gardening. Carlos also enjoyed traveling with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew Street, Cambridge. The Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m., with entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Paris, Ontario. A reception will follow back at the Funeral Home.
