Beloved wife and best friend to Edward Young for 53 years. Loving mother of Chris Young (Laura Winsor), Stephen Young (Aimee) and Tracy McKinney (Paul). Adoring Nana of Briana, Matthew, Liam, Ethan, Shae, Breann and Jaxon and proud great-grandmother of Gabriel and Mary Alice.
Clara is fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers, Sister Maureen O'Keefe, Betty Craig (Martin), Nellie Young (late John), Anna Kelly (Mike), Phillip O'Keefe (Diane), Carol O'Brien (Richard), Cathy Wakeford (late Guy), Carmel Cochburn (Jim), Tom O'Keefe (Wendy) and Gemma O'Keefe (Allen Lossing), by her brother-in-law, Jim Young and by her many nieces and nephews and extended family.
A Memorial Mass in celebration of Clara's life will take place on Saturday, September 24th at 12 noon at St. Patrick's Church, 53 Wellington St., Cambridge, with Fr. Joe Selvanayagam officiating. A reception will follow at 545 Elgin St. North.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Go Gold Cambridge or to WeFundCare (Ryan Saturno Patient Amenities Fund), and would be greatly appreciated by Clara's family.
