Passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital Cambridge in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Shirley Belmore. Loving father of Craig of Cambridge, James of Cambridge Robin Ronald (Lorne) of Cambridge, Sandra Boyd (Chris)of Hearst, Cheryl (Sheri) Penney of Cambridge. Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Joseph, Lloyd, Don, Gord, Myrna Poulton and 13 Grandchildren and, 10 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Blanche Penney, son Joseph (1964), sisters Gloria and Jesse. Clifford was born in Glace Bay N. S. and has lived in Cambridge since he was 18yrs old. A Member of the Galt Royal Canadian Legion Br. 121, Princess Patricia Highland Light Infantry and he was a Red Beret Paratrooper. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St Andrews Street Cambridge on Tuesday August 2, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P. M. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 1 P. M. Interment Mt. View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
