David was born in Kashmir India and moved with his family to settle in Africa. After living and working in South Africa, he moved to Poole England where he operated a boat repair business. His final home was in Canada where he married my mother Constance Sanders in 2010. Sadly, she passed away in 2012 after a short lived but happy marriage to him.
David is missed by his beloved friend and companion Ariel Walker, his devoted stepdaughter Mary Sanders Adamson who both deeply cared for and comforted him in his final years. David is also survived by his much beloved sister Maria (South Africa), his son Gordon (South Africa) and his dear cousin Heather (England). David enjoyed and appreciated his friendships with his Dundas kin in Canada, Scotland and the US. He was especially fond of Doug and John Dundas and his close friend George Ingram.
David had a passion for fishing especially loved telling tales of tuna fishing in South Africa. He enjoyed refurnishing boats, travelling and enjoying a spicy curry and seafood. He loved watching Formula One car racing and Blue Jays baseball.
We want to express our gratitude for the exceptional and compassionate care David received from the staff at St Andrew’s Terrace.
Honouring David’s final wishes, he requested no funeral. David will be buried at a later date in Scotland. We will cherish our memories of David. Essayez Dundas.
