

She is predeceased by her husband Victor Lindsay Saigeon and eldest son Robert Victor Saigeon (January 1, 1951-March 1, 1951). Dorothy will be forever loved by her children; Valerie Willmott (Philip) of Troutville, Virginia, Mark Saigeon (Cynthia) of Brockville and Brenda Diodati (Richard). Precious memories are left with her 10 grandchildren; Vanessa Henson(Chris), Amber O'Brien (Geoff), Wade Willmott (Rachel), Misty Hensley (Ian), Ashley Malmat (Delan), Jessica McAteer (Jared), Marissa McDonald (Jon), Amelia Costa (Nathan), Chelsea May Saigeon, Richard Diodati, Brandon Diodati, Emerson Diodati (Jennifer), her 22 great grandchildren;Samantha Moore (Chris), Kayla Henson, Nathan Henson (Skyler), Ethan Henson, Brayden Henson, Tate O'Brien, Revely O'Brien, Mackenzie Willmott, Meredith Willmott, Emma Willmott, Tucker Hensley, Ty Hensley, Mailey Halmat Max McAteer, Caleb McAteer, Thomas McAteer, Porter McAteer, Rowan McDonald, Quin McDonald, Elijah Costa, Isabella Costa, Camden M. S. Philips. Proud great-great grandmother of Calvin Moore, Dorothy is survived by her brother Frederick Flaxman of Canton, Ohio.
Dorothy was for the most part a stay at home mother. She raised three wonderful children a who have grown from her lessons and raised families of their own. She was actively involved in the Etobicoke Queensway Hospital Pink Aux Volunteer Auxiliary for over 25 years, and volunteered at the LDS Bishops Storehouse Mission dedicating 5 years to providing food and service to those in need.
A funeral service for Dorothy will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 181 Myers Rd, Cambridge, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at 12:00 noon at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane St, Vaughan, ON L4K 1A7.
