Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House, on Sunday, May 25th, 2014 in his 88th year. Cherished husband of Helen, for 60 wonderful years together. United once again with beloved son Kevin (1996). Dear father to Karen Fleming (Peter Fisher), Craig Fleming (Karen Gordon) and Kenneth Fleming. Grandfather to Grace, Matthew, Michael, Beth, Christine and Nicolas. Dear brother to Joan Louis. Predeceased by siblings Herbert, Patrick and Marjorie. Karl was a dedicated surgeon at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for 40 years. He was a member of the Galt Country Club for 55 years. A Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 at St. Gregory’s RC Church , 10 St. Gregory’s Drive, Cambridge at 11:15am. Friends and family are invited to the Galt Country Club, 750 Coronation Blvd, Cambridge immediately following the service for a time of fellowship and refreshment. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
