Passed peacefully from us at Riverbend Place, Cambridge on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the age of 92. She is reunited with her husband Leo Hogan (1977), her parents Henry Otto, and Lovina Rudisuela and four siblings. She will be forever missed by her daughter and best friend, Michelle Hogan, her sister Naomi Ibbitson and many nieces and nephews. During her life, Eileen worked as a cosmetician at Organ’s Drugstore, was the founder of the Cambridge Widow’s Group, a member of the Priscilla Unit at Wesley United Church and was a Lioness. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration Service will be held at Wesley United Church, 6 Cambridge Street, Cambridge on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Perennial and Annual Bedding Plants / Flowers are requested in lieu of flower arrangements. These will be planted about the Church Grounds following the Service or donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity in Eileen’s memory would be appreciated by her family.
