Predeceased by her husband, Bill King, Eileen was the daughter of the late Chris and Katie Kaufman (nee Becker). Eileen was born in Normanby Township and moved to Galt in 1948. Eileen was a lifelong member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church.
Eileen worked at the Basket Factory in Mount Forest, then at Tiger Brand in Galt for 25 years.
Eileen was predeceased by her sisters Lavina Ray, Wilhelmine Cupples, Helen Ash, and Violet Agnew.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Sharon Chapelle, Debbie MacDougall, Cathy Booty, and Don King. Eileen was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge at 11:00 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Eileen’s memory to St. Pauls Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Luke’s Place for the care, kindness, and compassion shown to Eileen throughout her time there.
