
February 7, 1915 - July 4, 2012 It is with deep sorrow that Carole and Barbara announce the passing of their mother, Elizabeth Taggart, on July 4, 2012 in her 98th year, at Riverbend Place, Cambridge. Elizabeth was the youngest of ten children of Sarah and David Brown of Brown's Corner, Preston. Pre- deceased by her husband Lester James Taggart (1976), their son William James Taggart (2000), and two great-grandsons. Survived by her daughters, Carole Ann (John) Shaw of Kitchener and Barbara Elizabeth Roadhouse of Cambridge. Remembered with love by her grand- children, Helen (Grant) Kitchen, Alan (Adrienne Bailey) Taggart, Cathy (Nick) Favron, Bill (Michelle) Taggart, Elizabeth (Scott) Moss, Nancy Shaw, Shauna (Terry) Johannes, Timothy (Maureen) Roadhouse, Lesley (David) Schnaeringer. Fondly remembered by her many great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered by her nieces and nephews as "Aunt Lil". Elizabeth was an avid golfer and was Senior Ladies Champion for eight years at the GaIt, Country Club, Cambridge. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Cambridge, and was an active member of the Rebecca Lodge in GaIt and Preston. Special Olympics were a favourite volunteer activity. Many thanks to Dr. Crosby, Nurses and Staff at Riverbend Place for the dedicated and compassionate care they gave our mother. Cremation has taken place and a private committal service will be held at a later date.
