

Loving mother to son Dwight William Jonker (Meredith) and son Mark Anthony Jonker (Christine). Proud grandmother to Cassondra (Austin) and Lucas Jonker, Lorelei and Wyatt Jonker. Joan was predeceased by her parents Martin and Margaret (Coffee) Bolger and her sisters Alma Marie Champagne, Loreen Bolliger, Betty Ann Bolger, Rosemary Schnarr, Elinor Bolger and brothers Martin Joe Bolger and Stanley Bolger (Marjorie). Joan was a beloved aunt of her many nieces and nephews and a treasured soul of all those she connected with.
She was born in Puslinch, Ontario, was an accomplished pianist, playing in a wide variety of concert settings, and worked for 3 different label companies in Ontario as a bookkeeper for over 27 years. She had a love for animals and nature and could always been seen walking or working outside. Joan will be remembered by everyone for her friendly, kind and compassionate nature, big smile, and her deep faith in God. She will be deeply missed.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Hilltop Manor Long Term Care Home for their graciousness and kind care over the past few years.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St Andrews Street, Cambridge where visitation will take place on Thursday, August 28th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge, on Friday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow back at the funeral home. Private interment of ashes to be held at a later date at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
