This day was such a fun day with you! I remember it so clearly. We made some solid memories. This day is Myrah strongest memory and I will do everything in my power to make sure she never forgets. Your passing has been really hard on her but I will try and make it a positive thing by keep her memories vivid and vibrant❤️❤️

It is with great sadness to hear of your mom's passing of Betty Jenson . I will not be at the Celebration of Life on Saturday but wish the family all of the best in their  time of loss. Hoping that you will look at all the good or great times you had over the years and hoping you will reflect upon these in her passing.

Words cannot express how much we miss you and what you mean to us. You were there from the beginning, always with a smile and love (even when we would get on your last nerve as kids). What helps right now is knowing that you are back with Opa, together again as last! 

There are so many memories that I am forever greaful that I get to cherish, but not only me, Cody, Willem, and Atticus as well. 

You taught me what it means to love, live, be happy with no regrets. You taught me that nagging your spouse is a part of life :) 

Through the years, I couldn’t be more happy with the relationship we had, our trips to Michaels, you taking us under your wing countless times, teaching the kids how to do backwards somersaults, seeing Josh Groban together, lunch and dinner dates…the list goes on an on. 

I don’t have one specific memory to share, because all our memories were ones to cherish, and they will always remain close to my heart. 

Oma, I love and miss you, but am so happy that you lived a happy, fulfilling life, and I will be celebrating you out here with Cody and the kids, leaving special painted rocks through out different trails and mountains in Vancouver, and adding picnic lunches along the way.

I have just learned about the loss of this wonderful woman, Mrs. Jansen. Truly, she was my second mother, and was a good friend to my mom, Eileen. I was always welcome at Bill and Betty's home and remember warm meals and warmer hearts. 
Chile con Carne was my favourite dish while sitting at the table with Mike, Walter, Pete, Helen,  Gerald, and Mrs. Fife.  Though I was not a fan of the buttermilk, Peppy the poodle made up for that!  Mrs. Jansen's spirit will always be with us, and now she is with Mr. Jansen, teasing, laughing, and together again.

Sending my deepest condolences on the passing of Betty. My heart goes out to all of you. 

I have many fond memories of Aunt Betty.  When we were growing up she was always smiling, joking, laughing and making us feel very welcome at their home.  They introduced my parents and our family to camping at Killbear Provincial Park.  Our family came to love camping because of their hospitality and love for nature.  I remember that they always camped in Granite Saddle.  When we were camping at Killbear we often took the opportunity to visit with them at their campsite.  Aunt Betty and Uncle Bill were always fun loving and you could see that they enjoyed life to the fullest.  In the last few years Aunt Betty always enjoyed hearing from us through our Christmas letter.  Sometimes we were late, and she'd call and ask if we would be sending it.  It was a pleasure to speak with her on the phone.  We will miss her.

Dear Betty's Family,

We are saddened by the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We want to share a few photos with you. How lovingly we were received by them on our holidays and we did beautiful things. We have been in 1984 Johan and I, 1996 my mother Mientje and I, 2005 mother Mientje, Rosalie and I and in 2013 Rosalie, Chiel and I. We also enjoyed the time you were in the Netherlands, Betty absolutely loved it, all those beautiful little houses, nature and tablecloths. Wally and Carolyn it was very nice that you were there and afterwards you were delighted with little William. We can look back with beautiful memories and wish you all the best and lots of love. Such a wonderful lady, aunt Betty.  I so enjoyed talking with her over the phone over the years.  I will always remember her kindness.  She had in her possession, the last letter my father ever wrote.  He wrote to his/their mom, it was dated the day he died of a massive heart attack in November 1989.  Your mom, wonderful lady that she is, sent me that letter, as well as the envelope it came in.  I had it framed, it is up on our living room wall.  Every time I read that letter, I think of my dad.  Now, when I read it, I will think of aunt Betty too.  Wonderful lady, God Bless her

We are saddened to hear of Auny Betty’s passing. I have such happy memories of her from when I was young. My favourite memory was eating with the family and playing underneath the giant mulberry tree at the house on Boxborough. I often think fondly of her when my grandchildren eat our mulberries and how she took it in stride when we came inside, covered with purple stains. I know she will be joyfully reunited with all of us and all who have passed before us in Heaven.
