It's is sad that Gary Robertson ( Mr. Robertson.) Has been gone 😭 I remember him as a teacher at Monsignor Doyle Catholic Secondary School 🏫 however I didn't have him as a teacher but I remember seeing him in the hallways. He was a nice man.

I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your soulmate - Gary. I have so many fond memories of sailing and snowmobiling with you both. I remember the many visits at your home with my Mom. 

Gary and my Dad (Hap Emms) were such close friends and you were my Mom’s dear friend whom she loved dearly. 

I remember all the special birthday cakes you made for me over the years and what a special home economics teacher you were. 

I will reach out for you soon.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Robertson. He was my  shop teacher at Monsignor Doyle. He was amazing, so patient and kind to all. He was definitely the right teacher for the class. 

He will always be remembered. Rest In Peace Mr. Robertson. 



We were saddened to hear of Garry’s passing.  He was a kind and welcoming neighbour to us when we bought the cottage next to him and Janet a few yrs ago. He loved being in his workshop, he frequently raved to us about his wife’s  cooking and he spoke fondly and often about his former students. But most of all, he was crazy about Janet and enjoyed telling us the story of how he swept her off her feet. He will be missed in Inverhuron.

Sincere condolences from all members of the Donnelly cottage.We have many many great memories of playing with Gary and his brothers years ago during the summers at the cottage .We enjoyed Gary and Janets friendship over the past years.Cherish the memories as he will be missed.

I first met Garry in 1990 when I came to Doyle. He was the teacher’s teacher. Respected, caring, beloved by every student and colleague throughout his career. He has taught me so much over the past 30+years .
Garry, you will be missed.

Ross and I have fond memories of Garry and Janet at local car shows and steam shows.  He was our favourite Ford guy and he will be missed.
