Hilde Paulina Wyse

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 10, 2018, surrounded by family, in her 55th year.

Hilde grew up in Windsor, Ontario where she graduated from the local University with a degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry. Before her illness, Hilde taught science at Preston High School. Hilde was a classy lady who enjoyed playing piano and guitar and singing in local choirs. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Her best times were spent with family in the great outdoors; biking, camping or kayaking.

Best friend and beloved wife of Steve Wyse. Loving mother of Evan (Mollie), Jake and Sean. She will be dearly missed by her mother Eileen Berends, brothers Randy (Liz) and William (Karen), sister Annette (Jeurgen) and nieces, nephews and many friends. Hilde is reunited with her father Ben and sister Nina.

Visitation will take place at the Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Wednesday, May 16th from 2 – 4:30 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Central Presbyterian Church, 7 Queen’s Square, Cambridge on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the local charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
