Predeceased by her husband Hugh MacLachlan, brothers Edward Murrie and Rodger Murrie, and grandson Joshua Wehrle. Loving mother of Sheena Wehrle (Mont) and Graeme MacLachlan (Kate). Proud “Gran” to grandchildren Matthew Wehrle, Caitlin Gordon (Alex), John MacLachlan (Stephanie) and great-grandchildren Brayden Kell, Myles Kell, Noah Kell, Finlay Gordon, Ian Gordon, Jack Gordon, Henry Gordon, Anna MacLachlan, and Paige MacLachlan. She will also be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
Isobel was born in Glasgow, Scotland and the family immigrated to Galt in 1957. She was an active member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church for many years, where she was the first female Elder, and in later years, a member of Westside Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will take place at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Thursday, November 18th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. To enter the funeral home, proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory for those age 12 and older. Masks are also required. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Westside Presbyterian Church, 130 Victoria Avenue, Cambridge on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1 p.m. As space is limited, please use the link on Isobel’s page of the funeral home website to sign up to attend.
