The venerable Johann Ewald Winter II, born in Bremen, Germany, passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on January 10th, 2011 at the advanced age of 87. Loving husband of late Helga. Loving father of Ralph, Brigitte, and Carol. Loving grandfather of Duane, John, Ryan, Melissa, and Phillip. Loving great grandfather to Rachel, Dylan, and Carson. His services, talents, intelligence, quick-wit, humor, strength, ethics, virtues, and compassion will be remembered by all who loved him. A caring humanitarian, and advocate of the human spirit. Honored by the Canadian Red Cross Society. He is deeply missed by his lifelong friend, Gunter Lennartz. Friends will be received at the T.
