It is with very heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear mother Josephine Scrivano. Cherished mother of Annemarie Bartels (Tim) and Joey Scrivano (Courtney). Precious memories are left with her grandchildren; Mia-Taylor Bartels, Jayne Bartels, Nico Scrivano and Luca Scrivano. Survived by her sisters Connie Guddemi and Angela Maddi, predeceased by her brother Leonardo Maddi and her sister Rose Rosano. Loving aunt to several nieces and nephews in Italy. Josephine was born in Ribera, Sicily, Italy on December 17th, 1943, and came to Canada with her parents and three sisters when she was 15 years old. Our mom was multitalented, her passion was sewing, hairstyling and keeping everything organized in her house. She was also a very intelligent lady who was business minded. Josephine was a mom that never ceased to provide for her family. She was a hardworking and remarkable woman who left everlasting impressions and positive impacts on all of those whose lives she touched. Josephine was truly unforgettable. Family and friends are welcomed to gather for visitation at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, on Tuesday February 25th between 2:00 and 4:30 and 7:00 to 9:30 pm., parish prayers will be at 8:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ambrose Parish, 210 South Street, on Wednesday February 26th at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Humane Society are greatly appreciated.
