Passed away at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, June 11, 2011, in her 69th year. Loving mother of Stephen Pearcey and Mariann of Alberta, Eric Pearcey of Norwich, Linda Pearcey of Kitchener. Also survived by grandsons Matthew and Adam and great-granddaughter Kaley. Karen will also be missed by her sister Agnes Milchen of Woodstock. Predeceased by her husband Earl Eckenswiller, two brothers Luke and Jim and her sister Mary Watson. Karen was born on March 6, 1943 in Seaforth, Ontario, and has lived in Cambridge most of her life. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
