Kenneth Charles Albert

With sadness his family announces that Ken passed away unexpectedly at the Fergus Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Joan and loving father to Jason (Julie) Albert and step-father to Laurie (Darren) Ellis, Steve (Heather) Bell and Kevin (Mandy) Bell. Proud grandfather of Luke, Brooke, Devyn, Sydney, Courtney, Adryan, Tyler, Kyle, Faith, Ethan, Blake, Kirk and Noah. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers Tom (Carol) McQuitty, Darryl (Nancy) Albert and Charles (Brenda) Albert and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his brother Chris McQuitty. Ken was a past employee of McArthur Express and a former Preston Scout House Band member. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at Wellington Terrace LTC for their compassionate care. Visitation will take place at the Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) on Tuesday, February 6th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Calvary Church, 127 Hespeler Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Ken’s memory to Countryside Camp and Conference Centre (Camp Shalom) would be appreciated by his family.
