He is reunited with his beloved wife Miriam (2004) and his daughter Mureen Agar (1992).
Loving father of Darlene Taylor (Bill) and Allan Bolton (Ann). Proud grandpa to Thomas Agar (Lauren), Branden Bolton (Meghan), Kerri-Ann Bolton, Teresa Taylor, Sara Van Der Heyden (Andrew), and Cameron Bolton and great-grandpa to Landon, Alyssa, Noah, Sophie, Carter, Emily, and Kaidence. He will also be lovingly remembered by his son in-law Scott Agar, brother in-law David Talbot (Bev), sister in-law Agnes Talbot, extended family and friends, but most of all by his faithful companion ‘Rocky’.
Ken retired from Stelco in 2004 after 37 years of service. He avidly kept in touch with many of the lifelong friends he met there, especially the group that met for breakfast in Dundas. He was a proud and active member of the United Steelworkers Local 1005.
The family wishes to thank the Geriatric staff and especially Maria Boyes at C.M.H. for their compassionate care.
Visitation will take place at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Tuesday, October 22nd from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will celebrated in the T. Little Chapel on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 1 p.m. Burial at New Hope Cemetery. Ken was a long time supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society and would have appreciated that donations in his honour be made to them.
