Lazaros Bogias

Beloved husband of Maria Elena for 23 wonderful years. Loving father of Tripho (Michelle) and Kalliope (Gene Maynard), stepfather of Regis (Marie) Roy and cherished Papou to Benjamin, Ella, Jack, Valentin, Amandine, and Soline. Predeceased by his wife Konstantina "Dina" (1998).

Lazaros will be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law Fernanda Mosca (Abel Diaz) and Rosa Garrido, his brother-in-law Luis Fernando Mosca (Isabel Arce) of Chile, his nephews Gus (Mary) and Chris (Maria) Bogias, and by his extended family and friends.

Born in Greece, Lazaros later came to Canada in 1964 from Belgium in search of a better life. He worked as a welder at Babcock & Wilcox for 32 years and was known for his strong work ethic and deep devotion to his family. Lazaros always wanted the very best for those he loved.

Friends and family will be received at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Lazaros will then be laid to rest at Mount View Cemetery in Cambridge.
