Leslie John Rowland

Les is survived by his sons Jason (Bethany) Rowland and Jeffery (Andy) Rowland, grandchildren Ryan and Lila and brothers Harry, Gord and Robert. He also leaves behind his former wife and close friend, Janice, many nieces and nephews, extended MacDonnell family and friends. Les is predeceased by his brother, Keith and parents, Blanche and Henry.

Les was a man of few words, unless you got him talking about cars, fishing or African Lian Safari (his employer of many years.) Despite his quiet nature, he loved his family deeply and was unfailingly present for Christmas gatherings, birthdays, Easter, and more.

Les loved to golf, tinker with his cars and enjoy many meals at his favorite Cambridge diner, M&M Bar & Grill. Les spent his career as a master mechanic.

Visitation will be held on September 9 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street in Cambridge. Les will be laid to rest after a private family burial at a later date.
