It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Lois Carmel Gregson. She made her journey peacefully, with family by her side. So lucky for every moment spent with her, she was our beacon of light. She will always be part of us.
Dear loving mother to Greg, Tammy (Gary) Skanes, Rod and daughter-in-law Katrina Kosmala. Dearest grandmother to Erik and Ryan Skanes, Alicia Gregson, and the late Waldek Kosmala. Great-grandmother to Rylan Skanes. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gregson (2011).
She is survived by her sisters and brothers: Ken, Barb (Owen), Dave (Sharon), Dar (Roger), Sharon, Dan (Penny) and Terry. Predeceased by her twin sister Lorraine (February 13, 2026), Ron; Marg, and baby Caroline. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and sister-in-law Yvonne Gregson and her family.
Lois was a gentle and loving soul, and for this she will be terribly missed by the many lives she touched.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 11:00 am.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Food for Kids - Waterloo Region or Beacon Baptist Church and would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
