Lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Lucia Incitti and his children Laura Incitti (Robert) and Andrea Incitti (Darlene) and his grandchildren Isabella, Natalie, Maya and Ricardo.
He is predeceased by his son Riccardo Incitti (1965 - 1992), his parents Giuseppe and Elena, his siblings Tommaso (Domenica), Concetta (Orlando), Nicola (Maria), Guido (Domenica) and Father Giovanni Incitti, his niece Elena Thomas and his nephew Fernando Pulciani.
Luigi immigrated to Canada March 17, 1959 from Arnara, Italy. He married Lucia on July 11, 1964 in Cambridge. He worked at Cello Industries before starting his own business - Luigi Incitti Carpentry in 1976 and was a successful framer until his retirement. For over 25 years, he bowled in a competitive league at Dickson Bowl. For over 50 years, he was a member of the Aurora Lodge, Sons of Italy Club and served as president multiple terms.
It was important for Luigi to maintain his Italian traditions throughout the years in Canada. His family enjoyed his homemade wine, prosciutto and sausages. Luigi also took great pride in his vegetable garden with bountiful harvests each summer. While he loved Lucia’s homemade pasta, his weaknesses were her homemade cookies and lemon cake.
As a father, he beamed with pride when he spoke of his family and was so proud of their successes in life. He was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan and an avid supporter of his beloved Lazio soccer team. At the age of 65, he took up golf.
