Born June 11, 1916; nee Margaret Midgley. Passed away peacefully, sense of humour intact, on May 5, 2015 in her 99th year after a short illness at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Beloved by her late husband of 44 years, Malcolm McCallum. Predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Callaghan (Michael Callaghan). Survived by her dear sister, Christine Krull and son Peter McCallum (Louise McGoey), of Ottawa, and grandchildren Jenn, James and Fraser McCallum, and Bryan Callaghan. Also survived by 4 nieces and 6 nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews. Visitation at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St Andrews St, Cambridge, on Friday, May 15 from 10:00-11:00am. Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00am., followed by reception. The family thanks doctors and staff at CMH and Ms. Chin, PSW, for care in Margaret's last months. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital or to the Down Syndrome Association - National Capital Region (Box 8025, Station T, Ottawa, K1G3H6).
