Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Hilltop Manor surrounded by her loving family. At the age of 83. She is together again with her beloved husband Joao (2004) and grandchildren: Chris Botelho (1998) and Sandy Homen (1977). Loving mother to Maria (Tony) Homen, Alda (Manuel) Botelho and Maria (Jose) Botelho. Proud Avo to eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased and now united with her parents Maria and Joao da Rosa and sister Odilia. Maria will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7- 9pm at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge. A Funeral Mass will take place the following day on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 185 Elgin Street South, Cambridge. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. A very special thank you to all of the caring staff of Hilltop Manor.
