Passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Heritage Meadows Retirement Home, in her 79th year. Loving mother of Cathy Thomas, Susan Fitzgerald (nee Thomas), both of Kitchener, David Thomas & his wife Theresa, of Goderich, Jennifer Watt (nee Thomas), of Cambridge, Jeff Thomas & his wife Mona, of Stratford. Caring grandma of thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill Sears & his wife Carole and Jane Taylor, all of Toronto.
Mary faced her disease with grace and dignity.To honor Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at “COUTTS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE”, 96 St. Andrew’s Street, Cambridge on Monday, September , 30, 2013 from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel. Mary will be laid to rest beside her beloved parent’s Tom & Anne Sears in St. James Cemetery, Toronto. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society (Cambridge) or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
