It is with heavy hearts we announce that Max was granted his angel wings and called home to heaven on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Max passed away due to several medical complications at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia with family at his side.
Beloved and cherished son to Danielle and Andrew Taylor, special little brother to Brody and Nevaeh, loving grandson to Emma Jo Tambeau, Grandpa Allen Desruisseaux, Nana Sue and Wanece and Eric Taylor. Dearest nephew to Paige (Devin), Somer (Chris), Tim (Lori), Sherry (Derek), Paul and (Josh). Max is together again in Heaven with Annie, Stephanie and his cousin Jeff. He will be so very missed by all of his cousins, extended family and many friends, including his Holy Spirit Catholic Elementary School family.
Max was not just any ordinary 5 year old boy. This special little miracle had the biggest heart of gold and a love so genuine and pure it touched your soul. His brilliant mind, amazing personality and silly sense of humour, brought so much happiness and laughter to everyone in Maxwell's life. His sweet smile could light even the darkest of days and it radiated so bright and contagiously, that it touched the lives all who ever knew Max in a way like no other. It brought joy and comfort to everyone around him and made his own pain and struggles look so effortless. Maxwell taught us to always be kind, to accept one another for who we are, and that anything is possible if we just believe in ourselves and each other. Max is and always will be our superhero. His strength, courage and life changed this world in a way that will never be forgotten and his memories will forever live on in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Calvary Pentecostal Assembly, 127 Hespeler Road, Cambridge at 1 p.m. with one hour of visitation beginning at 12 p.m. To honour Max and his love of everything superheroes, we encourage children attending to dress in their favourite superhero costume or to wear something yellow, Max's favourite colour.
