

Peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family after a strong and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 26. Beloved son to George and Sophia Galatsis, loving brother to Elena, dearest grandson to Despina Kalenderian, special cousin to Jacob, Brittany, Teddy and Jessica. Nicholas will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Nicholas enjoyed the simple things in life, he could often be found immersed in any one of his hobbies and pastimes. He loved soccer and football (Baltimore Ravens), music – especially classic rock, movies and anime. Technically gifted, he also enjoyed electronics, videogames and web design.
Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650), evening prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. from St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Rd., Kitchener. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Nicholas’s memory to The Canadian Fanconi Anemia Research Fund would be greatly appreciated.
