Linda passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Stirling Heights Long Term Care in Cambridge, Ontario, in her 96th year. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Lino Fratarcangeli. Linda was a devoted mother to Domenica (late Enrico), a proud and loving Nonna to Rina Nelson (Andrew) and Lisa Sicuro (Giancarlo), and a much-loved Great-Nonna to Kyle Nelson, Josh Nelson, AJ Nelson, Kaitlyn Sicuro, and Christopher Sicuro.
Linda’s love was felt in everything she did. She found great joy in her garden and took special pride in the vegetables she grew—especially her tomatoes, which she was famous for. She cherished helping to raise her great-grandchildren and delighted in watching them grow into the wonderful adults they are today. Her family will forever treasure the knitted slippers she lovingly made for each of them, a lasting reminder of her warmth and care.
Affectionate by nature, Linda was happiest when holding someone’s hand, offering comfort through the simplest and most loving gesture. She had a way of making everyone feel special and often expressed her appreciation with the words “Bella, Buona e Brava”—beautiful, good, and kind—a phrase she shared with those who cared for her, reflecting the gratitude and tenderness she carried in her heart. At Stirling Heights, she was lovingly known as Mamma Linda, a testament to the affection and warmth she brought to everyone around her. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, devotion to family, and the love she so freely gave.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the incredible staff at Stirling Heights for the compassion, love, and devoted care shown to Linda during the nine years she called it home. You treated her with tenderness, dignity, and patience, and became more than caregivers—you became family. Your gentle presence, kind words, and willingness to sit with her, hold her hand, and share in her days brought her true comfort and happiness. Knowing she was surrounded by such genuine love brings us great peace. Words will never fully express how profoundly thankful we are for all that you did. In Linda’s own words, you were “Bella, Buona e Brava.”
Family and friends are invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge).
