Passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the age of 85 at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge. Beloved husband of Charlotte Loosemore for 57 years. Cherished father of Jeffrey (Tracy), Julie, Daniel, and Andrew (Kellie). Extremely proud grandfather of Charlotte, Rhianan, Ariana, Aislinn, Isabella, and Logan. Loving brother of Kevin (Dorothy-Ann). Predeceased by his father Peter, mother Helen Dougan, and dear aunt Julia.
Paul was a long-time educator with the Waterloo Region Catholic School Board, affecting the lives of many children throughout his career. He was an integral member of many faith communities, including St. Ambrose Church.
Visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge) on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Church (210 South Street, Cambridge) on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment to take place at Parklawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
