Passed away suddenly on January 28, 2016 at the age of 92. Loving husband to Bonnie Gowman, devoted father to; Tom, Janet (Dave MacKenzie), Graham (Phyllis), and Carol (Clair Hutman). Cherished grandfather to; Jarrett, Jessica, Laura, Colin, Meghan, Terence, Andrew, Rachel and Olivia, great-grandfather to Henry. Predeceased by Florence and Anne, his children Marina, Les and Diane. Philip will be forever remembered by many friends and extended family. He was a teacher in Brantford for many years, an avid bridge player, loved the theatre and earned his wings with the RAF at the age of 21. Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews Street) with a Memorial Service Immediately following at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations directed to Lisaard House or Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
