

It is with heartbreak that the family of Robert James Muss, aged 80, announce his passing on November 1, 2024, after a valiant and courageous five-year battle with cancer. Born on September 27, 1944, Robert, affectionately known as Bob, lived a life marked by love, laughter, and service.
Bob dedicated himself to his family and community. He was a loving and romantic husband to Lynda Muss (nee Keating) for 57 beautiful years. He was a nurturing and supportive father to Jennifer Hagen (Andrew) and David Muss (Jennifer nee Pett), and a devoted and proud Papa to Joshua, Daniel, Zachary, Adam, Tyler, and Abby. Brother to Thomas Muss (Anna), and fun-loving uncle "Papa Bob" to many nieces and nephews, and to those who he considered family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Teresa Muss.
Bob spent over 25 years in the grocery industry, including 12 years as a co-owner of a leading Canadian food brokerage. He was a respected figure in his field, known for his integrity and camaraderie.
Bob's generosity and joy for life were evident in his hobbies. He was known as “coach” to many K-W area children in T-Ball, Softball, Golf, Baseball and Hockey. An avid golfer, he enjoyed playing in the Merry-Hill Golf Club Seniors league and participated in numerous fishing tournaments, always embracing his love for the outdoors.
A long-time member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Kitchener, Ontario, his faith played a significant role in his life. His commitment to his community and his faith were intertwined, guiding his actions and interactions. Bob's legacy of warmth and kindness is carried on by those he leaves behind.
The family would like to thank the exceptional care of Dr. Madani, Dr. Benjamin, Dr. Lin, Dr. S. Hahn and the incredible staff of nurses and PSW’s of the Lisaard House Hospice, Rehel of Care Partners and the nurses from Home & Community Care.
Visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main St., Cambridge, Ontario, on Friday, November 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm., vigil prayers will be at 9:00 pm. A funeral liturgy will follow on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
