On Friday April 21, 2017 the world lost a great man, father and friend to many, as result of a tragic car accident. Rob is the beloved husband and best friend to Amy Crittenden, who will forever miss his amazing soul having spent 24 wonderful years together. He is the proud and loving father to Ripley, Archer and Ember. Dearest son to Gary and Barb Porter and much loved brother to Katt (Shawn). He is survived by his mother-in-law Wendy Crittenden and brother-in-law Wes Crittenden (Vicky). Predeceased by his grandparents: Bill and Betty Garry, Pearl and John Porter, father-in-law and friend Terry Crittenden and uncle Billy Garry. Rob will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his extended family and many friends and coworkers, especially his brothers in arms. In keeping with Rob's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) at 6 p.m. with one hour of visitation beginning at 5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to a trust fund set up for his young children would be so greatly appreciated.
