Ruby, also known as Biggie, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends after a stroke at Grand River Hospital on February 17, 2020 at the age of 77.
Loving wife to “Mundy”. Cherished Biggie to five children: Jennifer, Donna, Carl, Sophia and Patrick.
Grandchildren: Stephanie, Jermaine, Latoya, Marvin, Kamaria, Jonathan, Lexi, Lucus, Carl, Justin, Fitzroy "John John", Tamara, and “Peaches”. Great-grandchildren: Jevon, Nyasia, Miss Chin, Jaylin, Kiara, Zandya, Xzavior, Channel, Armoni, Jeremiah ”Smiley”, and Quinton.
Sadly missed by her favorite Nephew Carlton, and grandnephew Omarey, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Ruby touched so many lives and was loved by so many, too many to mention. Ruby will be remembered for the star that she was in the lives of everyone on whom she made an impact. She will also be remembered for her generosity and love, her beautiful smile, and her cooking. She was known to be a open door; she welcomed and appreciated everyone that came into her life. She will be deeply missed by all.
Ruby is now with her maker, and is reunited with her beloved mother Joyce, twin sister Winifred (Little), and Margaret (Cutie), her dear friend Celi, and other loved ones.
Family will receive friends at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) for visitation on Friday February 28th, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. A Celebration of Ruby’s Life will be held at Central Presbyterian Church, 7 Queen’s Square, on Saturday February 29th at 12pm. Burial to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Lion's Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Kids.
