Timothy Allan Wood

Timothy was the devoted father of Parker and Shelby, and loving husband to Holly (Kostigian). Born in Toronto, Tim was the son of Richard and Susan Wood and son-in-law to John and Joan Kostigian. Pre-deceased by sister Cathy Hetherington (Gord) and brother David (JoAnne). Survived by brother Ian (Lisa), many nieces and nephews, and other loving relatives.

Tim was a very special husband and father. He was the proudest Dad on earth. He was his kids’ number one fan, in all of their varied endeavours. As a husband, Tim was both thoughtful and generous. He never forgot a special day and he would go to the ends of the earth to make sure everything was exactly the way it needed to be. One cannot think of Tim without remembering his incredibly sharp wit or his looming presence with that wry smirk on his face.

Tim was an engineer and nothing in his life went without being centred or levelled. He was addicted to fast cars and photography—he was never without a camera around his neck. He loved animals and always had a dog by his side. Tim loved his home in Cambridge, but his heart could often be found in Lake of Bays. Tim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A special thanks to the Medical Day Care Team at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and to all of the nurses and workers who were so incredibly kind to both Tim and his family. Special thanks to Kim, Abby, Elaine, Cindy and Donna.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Galt Country Club, 750 Coronation Blvd., Cambridge.
