Passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the age of 54 years. Wife of Kim Ellis. Beloved sister of Evelyn Stoyles, Muriel McDonald, Melvin Dicks, Lloyd Dicks, Lorne Dicks, Clayton Dicks, Cal Dicks and Eric Dicks and many nieces and nephews. Stepmother of Colin Ellis. Grandmother of Joey, Joshua and Julia. Predeceased by parents Frank and Florie Dicks, brother Bert, sister Vivian and daughter Suzanne. Valerie was involved with People in Motion and will be missed by many of her friends. Resting at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday from 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held from the Coutts Chapel on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 3 p.m. (with visitation one hour prior to service time).
