Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday November 23, 2015 at age 87. Beloved husband of the late (1986) Alice Jeanne Chippindale (nee Anness) and loving companion of the late (2011) Margaret Heutinck. Loving father of Elizabeth ( Lisa) Chippindale and Cynthia (Cindy) Chippindale and son-in-law Jeff Chahley. Survived by sisters Brenda Ross and Anne Stevenson, sister-in-law Jeanette Chippindale, brother-in-law Alex Stevenson. Predeceased by brother Ralph Chippindale and brother-in-law Desmond Ross. Walter will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and University of Toronto’s 5T2 Civils. The family will receive friends at the T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, Ontario N1R 1X2 (519)-623-1290 on Thursday November 26, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 27, 2015 at 11 am. Cremation. A reception will follow the service at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #121, 4 Veterans Way, Cambridge, Ontario.
