Born on April 10, 1929, in Pittston, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella Dessoye.
Ann Marie was a graduate of Pittston High School and was employed for many years as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and AMP.
Surviving Ann Marie is her daughter, Geri Ann Heffren and grandson, Corey P. Heffren as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband: George Heffren, who passed away in May of 1960. She then married Paul Swain, who passed away in August of 2014. Her brother: Jack Dessoye and three sisters: Marion Dessoye, Betty Buckley and Grace Gibbons.
A visitation for Ann Marie will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 E Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM immediately following the visitation. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery,1313 S York St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055
