She was born on July 13, 1947, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Richard and Anna Katharine (Forney) Showers.
Anne is survived by her loving daughters, Toni Wray, Amy (Kevin) Hiltz, and Cristy (Randy) Shearer; her cherished grandchildren, Ethan, Ella May, Dane, Mason, and Blake; her brother, Richard (MaryAnne) Showers; and her brother-in-law, Vincent VanGordon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan VanGordon.
Anne worked as a school bus driver for Susquehanna Township and CAIU for over 15 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Gigi.”
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Gentiva Hospice and Camp Hill Skilled Nursing for the exceptional care and compassion shown during Anne’s final days.
At Anne’s request, there will be no services at this time.
