Bonita L. Shaver

Bonita L. Shaver 74, of Newberry Township, went to be with the Lord Feb 14th 2015 in Carlisle Regional Hospital. She was born April 18th, 1940 in Harrisburg Pa. She was the daughter of the Late Kathryne E (Wilt) Moyer and Howard Taft Canfield.

Bonita was the wife of 52 years, to Carl H. Shaver Sr. Mother of two sons, Carl H Shaver Jr. and wife Evelyn of Mechanicsburg Pa., and Eric G. Shaver and wife Valerie, of Carlisle Pa.; Nine grandchildren, Joshua E. Shaver, Anissa R. Shaver, Ashley L. Weakland, Bruce E. Hockensmith, Courtney A. Young, Zachary C. Shaver, Tyler R. Shaver, Cassandra L. Keiser, and Jesse A. Keiser; Six great grandchildren, Morgan S. Shaver, Emelio J. Colon, Gisselle A. Colon, Mason L. Weaver, Brodie T. Shaver, and Grace M. Young.

She was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, Class of 1958

Viewing will be held at 10:00 am February 20th at the Country and Town Baptist Church, 220 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Funeral Services will be held at the church at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Country and Town Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
