Carol Hart

Born on July 24, 1942 in New Cumberland, PA to the late David and Kathryn Lambert.

Carol retired from Book-of-the-Month Club. She treasured traveling with her husband and family, playing cards and going to the casinos with her brothers and sisters. Carol’s major enjoyment was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and learn.

Surviving her are her daughters, Barbara Hart, her companion James Wills, and Sherri Ruby; grandchildren, Virginia Evans, her husband Justin, and Dakota Hershey, his wife Alyssa; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Rick Lambert, his wife Jean, and her sisters, Gladys Sites, Judy Henry, and Sharon Lambert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Barry Hart; and siblings, David, William, Larry, Beverly Shimmel and Nancy Rovak.

A visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm, followed by burial in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA. A reception will take place that afternoon following the burial at Fairview Brethren in Christ, New Cumberland, PA.
