

Claire Ann (McCloskey) Entenman passed away peacefully at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania on March 15, 2025 at the age of 88 after suffering from dementia for more than 2 years and complications from a broken hip sustained on March 9, 2025. Up until the end Claire maintained a love for her husband of 67 years, Robert Entenman Sr., for her three children, Robert Entenman Jr., Catherine (Entenman) Hoath, and Joseph Entenman, his wife Tina (Morgan) Entenman, and her five grandchildren: Zachary Entenman, Sarah Hoath, Allison Hoath, Matthew Entenman and Jack Entenman.
Claire was born in Philadelphia in 1936 to Catherine [Rena] (Dougherty) McCloskey and Joseph McCloskey and she developed an early love for shopping, diners, and trips to the New Jersey shore. She attended Mount Saint Joseph’s High School and then studied nursing at Chestnut Hill Hospital. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years and after retiring enjoyed keeping current on new treatments for common ailments and learning about the use of vitamins and herbs to promote good health.
Claire was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as a sister, Mary, who died as a child. She is survived by her husband, three children, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on March 24, 2025 at Neill Funeral Home, Inc. 3401 Market St., Camp Hill, PA 17011 and a service will be held at 12:00 pm that same day. In lieu of flowers, please send cards to her husband Robert Entenman at 4 Blue Mountain Vista, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
