Patty, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dan was a great man and family man, he was always telling me about the family and you could tell he was very proud of them, and though he knew he was losing his battle he never complained to me about it, Pat and the family you are in my prayers and i will miss seeing Dan coming in for his auto repairs, always enjoyed dealing with him.

I can't add to anything that has been written about the loss of Dan Lyons. He was a fellow co-worker and respected by all who had the pleasure of his company. He will be missed by one and all. God Bless.

Pat, Dan & Joe, please accept my most sincere condolences. Dan was an awesome man, father, husband and friend. I will really miss my friend.

Dan was one of the finest and most decent men I've ever met.  He will be dearly missed by all who had the honor and pleasure to know him.

Dan was a good friend and exemplified what the AOH is all about.  He is what was and is good in all of us.  His passing is something I never wanted to even think about or think could ever happen.  He was always there for every one of us and now his memory and spirit will have to be our companion.  He fought his cancer with the courage and strength of a true patriot and soldier.  He was truly a Celtic Warrior.  Today a little of all of us has died.  I know he is enjoying his eternal reward and having a few pints with Our Lord and his Saints, and I know it is to his benefit and good (as well as theirs) that he is in such worthy company, but I cannot help but wanting to deprive heaven of this brother for a bit longer.  The Guinness will never taste as good, the whiskey will never be as smooth and potent and  the company will never be as warm and inviting.  The seat left at the fireside, the glass left on the bar, the hole in our hearts will never be filled.  Dan we miss you and love you and may the Angels be benefitted by your company.  To Patricia and the boys and the rest of the family all of our love, condolences, best wishes and support.

Dan was so proud of his family and talked about all of them constantly.  I cherish the memories of the many conversations I had with Dan that will last a lifetime.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Lyons family during this time.

Patty..I know I don't need to tell you this, but Dan was an awesome man,friend,and co-worker. I will miss him terrible, he was a great support to me thru my recent loss, even tho he was losing his own battle. You and the boys are in my prayers thru this difficult time.

It feels like a great big light was just turned off, but Dan's brightness will shine in the hearts of all who knew him.    He was one heck of a guy!  Love and prayers to you all.

I had the pleasure of working with Dan and his wife, Pat in the past few years.  Both were hard workers, but more importantly, good people.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Pat, their children, and their family in this difficult time.

I'll miss you big brother  and will always love you. I know that God has you with him now, discussing Notre Dame Football and the next championship. Lord, please comfort us that lost a great friend and family member. Thy will, not mine,be done.
