David Simmons, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 16,2015. Born on June 22, 1955 in Salisbury, MD, David was the son of the late Lucas C. and June S. Simmons, of Salisbury, MD. David is survived by his children, Alison C. Simmons and Lucas J. Simmons. His grandson, Keagan Rudy, sister, Suzanne Forrest, niece and nephew Sarah Goodwin and John Forrest, great-aunt Doris Goslin, and his childhood best friend, Valerie Goff, whom he loved dearly. His love of aviation sparked his lifelong career. He worked with Allegheny, and Piedmont Aviation, and Sikorsky and Haverfeild Aviation. During which time he made many life long friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. All will miss his kind and deeply compassionate heart. Services will be held 2:30 pm Saturday June 27,2015 at Neill's Funeral Home 3401 Market Street Camp Hill, PA. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to time of service.
