Ellen Romaine Sellers

Born on May 8, 1925 in Mechanicsburg to the late Merritt and Edna (Hale) Potteiger. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank L. Sellers.

Surviving “Shorty” are her daughters, Judy (Lyle) Herr and Sue (Brad) King both of Mechanicsburg; 5 grandchildren - Becky Adams, Erica Slusser, Katie Hausmann, Ryan King and Andrew Herr; and 12 great-grandchildren - Lindsay and Blake Adams, Madison, Brianna and Tyler Hausmann, Lucas, Jocelyn and Mackenzie King, Elianna Slusser, and Olivia, Emily and Abigail Herr. She is also survived by a sister Dorothy Mullaney and brothers Fred, Richard and Donald Potteiger.

“Shorty” worked as a clerk with Weis markets for 44 years, Cumberland Valley School District cafeteria for 16 years, and at 96 years of age was still working part time at Potteiger’s Curiosity Shop. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family who fondly called her Mom, Grandma, G-ma and GG.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 3, 2021 at Rolling Green Cemetery; 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
