Born on August 12, 1945 in Lewisberry, to the late Vera (Danner) and Harry A. Taylor.
Joe met his wife Joanne (Bell) Taylor in 1970 and were married on July 10, 1971 and have enjoyed 50 years of marriage. Joe and Joanne have 3 daughters, Susan (Joseph) Fahnestock, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Price, and Olivia and her fiancé Cory Keller.
Joe retired as a truck driver after 45 years. He was a member of Teamster's 776 out of Harrisburg, PA for 8 years for Preston Trucking. He finished his driving career with Spink's Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing skiball, eating steak and spending time on his boat. His grandkids loved their Pap and enjoyed their time with him. He would always find something to pick with them about.
In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his brother Harry. He leaves behind his loving wife Joanne, his daughters, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
