Lewis Edward Newpher

Born on December 20, 1950, in Clearfield, PA to the late Shannon W. and Helen M. (McDowell) Newpher.

He is preceded in death by his brother, William Lee Newpher and sisters, Helen Clair Newpher Spencer, Judith Mary Newpher Crosby and Martha Ann Newpher Flood.

Surviving Lewis is his loving wife of 9 years, Lisa (Pham) Newpher; his brother, Richard W. Newpher; mother and father in-law, Mary An and Joe Hung Pham, and the rest of the Pham family, Lu and Nguyen, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.

Lewis was a member of the United States Air Force for 23 years and a dedicated business manager for the Vet Diagnostics lab with the PA Dept. of Agriculture for 26 years. He was a kind and selfless man, giving more for others than he would take for himself and loved by all who met him. He enjoyed hiking and tinkering or fixing anything.

A visitation will be held on Thursday December 30, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A funeral Mass will be held Friday December 31, 2021 at 9:00am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament; 2121 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Cremation will follow services at the church with an internment to be scheduled at the convenience of the family over in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
