The Moore and Geraci families started off together at Good Shepherd School on through Trinity, through college years and onward.  Mike and I ran the concession stand for Trinity soccer and he always kept me laughing while organizing everything behind the scenes.  He was the driver to the away games and we all enjoyed the trips...win or lose.  I always thought of Mike as one of those “pillars” of the Church my mom talked about.  He was literally part of the foundation that kept the parish running, with humor and humility.  I will always be grateful that our paths intertwined.  God has picked one of the very best to be on His team.  Mike, Dom will be there to greet you.  Rest In Peace and May God give you the work of angels.  My deepest sympathy to his beautiful family and friends.

To the Moore family we send our deepest sympathy and prayers at this difficult time.
We will miss Mike, as his gentle and warm smile greeted us with every encounter.
May his legacy of love and kindness guide you and you family. May each day be filled with loving memories of how he enriched those he touched.

My heart aches for all of you. It pains me that I didn’t get to see Mike or his family since my dad or aunt Alice died-I can’t I remember now who left us first.....I’m sure they’re together in heaven now cracking their jokes & talking about the Steelers. 
I so wish I could be there with you but I’m now solely responsible for my Vanessa & 2 other girls.

To Mike's Family,
I have had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Mike at PennDOT since I started working with him in March 2018.  While it is a very short period of time I have many memories of our days working together - because he is that kind of guy - "memorable".  A lot of it has to do with his humor, boy, did he know how to crack us all up; and a lot of it has to do with his always being ready to provide information and support when we were trying to manage our way through the rules, regulations and systems that the Procurement Help Desk dealt with day-in and day-out.  He also had a knack for knowing if you were having an off day - he had a way of just showing up at your desk and asking if you were OK or if you needed a hand with anything - when you knew darn well his plate was fuller than most of ours because everyone sought him out for assistance with the issues they were having with their work.  I spend a fair amount of time at our department copier/printer which is on the other side of his cubicle wall.  Apparently, I'm a "sigh-er" and once in a while I'd hear his voice saying "Hey, can you keep it down over there?" or some such snarky and funny comment...he cracked me up!  In a very different way from what you are going through, I miss him every day and he will always be on my mind and in my heart.  I am so very sorry for your loss and know that Mike is looking down on all of us with a smile and nothing but good wishes - that is the kind of man he was in my eyes.

Dear Kathy and family,
Thank you for sharing Mike with us .  I've worked with Mike for 19+ years here at PennDOT.  He was a very understanding man who responded with a  funny GIF on emails that I couldn't help but laugh at.  He always took the time to help out no matter how busy he was.  It was a pleasure working with him, his knowledge was exemplary and will surely be missed by so many.  Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike in person, I know I will in heaven.  May all your memories carry thru this difficult but temporary separation from the wonderful man I had the honor to call a friend as well as a coworker.

Mike was a genuinely good guy.  He always seemed to find the humor in a situation letting us know with his dry incredibly quick wit.  Then we would see his shy smile and hear his chuckle.  
He earned the undying respect and admiration of his co-workers as well his friends and acquaintances in many communities.
He was a great family man with a great love given and received to and from all of his immediate and extended family.  Oh, how he loved and lived for his grandchildren.
He would offer his helping hand to anyone who asked or to those he knew needed help.   But how I remember Mike is that he was a brother who was fun to be with.  And of course, a die-hard Steelers fan.   
He lived with me and his sister, Shiela, in our house for many months when he first moved to Harrisburg from Pittsburgh.  He will be sorely missed by me, his entire family and countless friends.  His good works will continue in Heaven!

To the Moore family I send my love and hope that the heartache you feel will give way to solace and peacefulness.
I will miss Mike’s wry smile and quick humor. His way of getting me to grin and to see the humorous side of a situation—or myself—was a gift. And, I am grateful  to have been the recipient of his gifts.

To Mike’s Family:
I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike for 5 years. He always had a joke and a smile to share with his coworkers. He brightened my day. Thank you for sharing him with us. 

My favorite memory is when Mr. Moore drove Becky and I to every McDonalds in the Harrisburg area to get all of the different beanie baby happy meal toys.  He was the best and will be greatly missed!
