Visitation will be 6-7 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Neill Funeral Home 3401 Market Street in Camp Hill, PA, with a service at 7:00 PM
Military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA, at the convenience of the family.
Oliver (Skip) was born in Altoona, PA to Martha and Norman Evans on June 30, 1932. He married Ruth Butler on May 5, 1956. He worked as an engineer for various companies for over forty years. He served in the Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Skip is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Norman Evans, and his brother James.
Skip is survived by his wife Ruth, children Craig (Sherry), Roger (Angela), and Barbara (Peter), and his sister-in-law Geri. He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Jamie, Kaitlyn, Stephanie and Brian (Kathryn).
Memorials may be given to Heartland Hospice Services Carlisle, PA.
